About David Whitley's Custom Painting

ESTABLISHED IN 1988.

David Whitley is a local painter born in Raleigh. He started painting at the age of 13 with his step-dad and painted his first house on his own at age 17.  After graduating from Barton College with a degree in Business Administration he began David Whitley's Custom Painting. Today after 35 years of experience in the painting field, David is focusing on residential repaints, commercial properties & industrial facilities. 

David works as a Battalion Chief with the Raleigh Fire Department and is only 4 years from retirement where he plans on retiring with 30 yrs of service.  David & his wife Janice have three children. Two girls and a boy, that are becoming active in the family business. 

David enjoys his church, coaching Clayton Little Baseball and the great outdoors.
